Now my skin is combination leaning dry and pretty sensitive. Most of these products are great, and if there’s anything that is better for an oily skin type, I’ll let y’all know. I am not a dermatologist or esthetician, just a makeup artist with respect for skincare and sharing things that have worked for my skin type and texture.

So, HERE WE GO!

Alright, I will start clockwise, staring with the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Oil and go clockwise.

KIEHLS MIDNIGHT RECOVERY CONCENTRATE: THE HOLY GRAIL OF FACE OILS

Y’ALL. I don’t know what sorcery Kiehl’s has done to make this oil but it is just everything. I wake up with my skin glowing, refreshed, hydrated, plump. I can honestly say I do feel like my pores are smaller and smoothed over. It just looks brighter and feel like I’ve gotten the most rewarding beauty sleep. It’s honestly the best and I never want to live my life without it. They come in all sizes but last year, I took advantage of the large bottle for $125. Honestly, it was worth it and have barely made my way through maybe 1/4 of it. A few drops is all you need. I use this probably every other night, and especially use it after I do a micro needling treatment to help soothe and repair my skin. LOVE. 10/10. If there’s one thing you should get from this sale, I know I say that about everything, but this one is it. The scent is incredible, of soft lavender and just so soothing. You can try to the smaller sample size and that’ll last you a while, too!

SUPERGOOP PLAY Superscreen Daily Moisturizer

I love this moisturizer. Most oft y daytime moisturizers and makeup have SPF in them already, but if I know I’m going to be driving a lot that day, in and out of my car or just out and about, I use this. I always use this after I’ve done any treatments, like microdermabrasion or a lactic acid treatment, to protect my skin. The large tub lasts FOREVER and the two minis last a while, as well. This is a great opportunity for you to try and share with your mom or sister like I did. The moisturizer is SPF 40 and the daily moisturizer is 50. I like the daily moisturizer especially for a hike.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum

Now this is a serum that doesn’t feel like it’s working on contact but does over time. Soothing, smoothing and hydrating. I liked my results when I had tried this. This is a good deal; I believe you get one full size and three travel sizes which are still so generous for the amount you use. It will last a while!

Mario Badescu Glycolic Foaming Cleanser Duo

This is a gentle exfoliating cleanser. It’s almost like a little paceman in a bottle and will take out all those dead skin cells. I use this when I’m feeling more on the oily side during summer. It gives me that squeaky clean kind of clean. It’s gentle, light, doesn’t over dry, and actually like to use this to prep my skin for a face mask or a little at-home treatment to get all the dead skin cells out without being to stressful. Like, I wouldn’t pair a harsh exfoliating cleanser with a Microderm, that would be too stressful.

Mario Badescu Full size drying lotion, Rose face mist and lip balm

This is a great little set to have for yourself for at home and travel! The Drying Lotion is a cult fave for a reason. It’s minimized pimples I’ve had overnight without drying out the skin around it, which has been the case with other products. The Rose Water spray is just a classic, refreshing and I usually keep the little mini one in my bag and the small size is great for a makeup kit. And who doesn’t love a lip balm! Great little deal!

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cleanser Set

I have used these products before and love! This is great; it’s cleansing, gentle, hydrating, nourishing, doesn’t strip and feels comfortable. The cleanser lathers up great, the ultra moisturizer is soothing, creamy, almost feels medicinal in my opinion, it’s so soothing. It’s great for combination, dry, and sensitive skin like me. LOVE THE AVOCADO EYE CREAM! I find it works better at night, it’s very buttery. I have not tried this Retinol Serum but I’d be willing to give it a try and add it to my routine.

FRESH Lotus Youth Preserve Cream, Night Cream and lip balm

Talk about a lovely, soothing fragrance! I like the full size Super Lotus cream; instantly hydrating and long lasting hydration throughout the day and smells heavenly. Then you get the Preserve cream in a trial size, it gently detoxifies and hydrates the skin over night, and the sugar lip balm smells beautiful and everyone needs a clear balm to keep their lip hydrated summer, fall, winter and spring!

Dr. Gross Skincare Alpha Beta Extra Strength Daily Facial Peel Set (Face and body)

So, I use the Ultra gentle. According to Dr. Gross, the Extra Strength is ideal for oily skin types, mature skin, or those with stubborn concerns. This peel is amazing. There is no downtime, and it helps basically clarify, retexturize and tone my skin. I have found amazing results with it. It’s a two step process and super easy; swipe one towelette on the skin, let it dry and penetrate for two minutes, then follow up with the second. Let dry and then I wait for that to dry for a while and then I will follow up with my nighttime moisturizer.

Be sure to use extra SPF anytime you’re doing treatments. Use it everyday, but especially if you’re doing a retexturing product, treatments, etc, I make an intention to use extra SPF, wear a hat, and stay out of the sun so I don’t ruin my skin or reduce my results!
