Here are some haircare tools and products that I have used and am considering… there’s just so many great things!
Okay. We know my hair struggle is real. So I switched to using Olaplex at the beginning of 2020. My friend Lacey gave me Olaplex as a Christmas gift, she knew my hair situation. I blow dried my hair and went to Vegas for my dad’s 70th, and my sister even gave me a compliment. She said “your hair has never looked so good, it’s so smooth, shiny and healthy!” Guys. That’s when I knew I was doing something right. Olaplex helps repair, strengthen and prevent further damage. I recently worked on Lonestar 911 had blow dried my hair and the stylist said, “you have really fine hair but it’s really strong, what do you use?” I told her Olaplex. She said it was like a protein shake for my hair, and that’s why it’s so strong and smooth. My hair is slow to grow, but I am taking collagen, biotin and the like, and my hair has grown this past year. I think the Olaplex keeps it strong and letting the vitamins work.
ORBIE Hairspray and dry texture spray
Now I’m thinking bout this (I do get a pro discount) but they’ve used these on me on sets before and it is divine. The dry shampoo I used on vacation from Krystal, and it soaks up all the oil in your hair, and smells great. And I LOVE a texture spray! Texture spray is great if you have super fine hair (like me) and it adds a bit of body, volume and grip. I feel like my hair looks fuller. I usually add if my hair is too flat. This is what I’ve learned from set!
As in my previous post, I shared that I got this for Christmas. It’s so soft and feels so nice to lay in after a long day. I def make sure my hair is dry when I go to sleep on this though! The silk helps prevent the appearance of wrinkles when you wake up and helps keep your hair smooth.
Now while I don’t own this, I can absolutely get behind a good blow dryer that is on sale. This is a tourmaline focused hair dryer and after reading a few reviews, everyone says it definitely takes out all the frizz from your hair. The great thing, is it is smaller compared to the other blow dryers on the page, so this would be great for a college dorm or apartment living.
Everyone loves a great brush set! This set features four brushes to go with your new blow dryer. Detangle, condition, smooth and dry your hair with this pretty set. It’s always nice to have a complete set of something. The paddle brush is also heat resistant nylon to smooth out your hair, too. And a vented brush is great, because I know for me this definitely speeds up my hair styling. I believe the white is also on sale!
T3 Single Pass 1.25” curling iron
I finally caved in and got this curling iron. I was so resistant because I saw it everywhere, but now I understand why. It is so worth it! It heats up in literally a minute, you can control your temperature, there is five. I keep mine on the middle one and get really smooth hair and curls. My curls always hold with this iron and it’s definitely worth the investment. It also has auto-shut of so you don’t have to worry about burning your house down, has a little resting tip so it never touches your counter AND has a swivel cord that moves with you. Great features! I think they also have the white on sale, too.
