Perfect Date Night or GNO Natural Super Glam (Super Victoria's Secret Inspired)
Hi! So I was going to a fabulous restaurant the other night with some friends and decided to take a pic of this fabulous glam. Inspired by Victoria’s Secret Fashion show, of course. It’s liked a natural super glam. I now it looks like a lot but it’s really not. This look is great for Date Night, a night out with friends, or if you just want to be so naturally extra during the daytime.
I’m all about a great skin prep! When I want my skin fresh, I usually do a mask the day before, then follow up with my Glycolic Foaming Cleanser from Mario Badescu and let my Bio-Oil sink in for a while before I move on to foundation. Yes, I use it in the morning or before makeup.
Smashbox Photofinish Primer
Apply this after your moisturizer. It helps fill in fine lines and pores to make you look super flawless under your foundation.
Smashbox Undereye Primer
I love to hydrate and prime my under eyes with this, especially when I’m feeling a little tired. It has caffeine which stimulates blood the the surface to help with dark circles (I GOT THEM BAD!), and help reduce puffiness and fine lines. FLAWLESS. It also helps brighten, you can wear it by itself to. The soft rose helps brighten and illuminate.
Stila Color Correcting Palette
I just added this to my kit, it is essential. I put the peach on my dark under eye first and let that set. Then I dot the green on my nose and chin and pimples (thanks Christmas diet!) to neutralize any redness.
FaceAtelier Ultra Foundation
This is an incredible foundation that looks and mimics skin. Since I was going quite dramatic with my lashes, I wanted my skin and eyes to be soft and fresh. This is a great night out foundation, daytime, and audition foundation! Great for a carpet, a meeting or self-tape. It does it all. Super buildable with a skin like finish. You also technically don’t need a primer as it has one built in, and it sets itself so no powder needed. It’s a gorgeous fresh finish.
Hynt Beauty Concealer
I dab this on with a giant concealer brush to buff it out. A little goes a long way. Gorgeous coverage.
Becca Cosmetics Undereye Brightening Powder
OMG. THIS IS A GAMECHANGER. I love this. It takes the cake out of the bake. It’s a tissue thin, superfine powder that brightens and sets your under eye. Only use if you’ve properly hydrated your under eye.
Hourglass Ambient Powder
This is my favorite setting foundation! It’s like an Instagram filter in a powder. It just diffuses everything and blurs out any imperfections. It’s lightweight and just gives our skin a perfect cnadlit glow. Perfect for a low level lighting dinner!
Inglot Sculpting Powder
I love their freedom system. I love how buildable this product is. I just pop this in the hallow of my cheek for a super angel look.
Surrat Beauty Blush
I LOVE this blush. I use Se Pomponner, a gorgeous shocking pink that’s so soft and pretty on. If I remember correctly, it’s a foam, and then squished down into the package and dried out to give it al light spongy texture that’s sheer but builds intensely. I love how slim the blush is in the little sleeve, it is easy to bring with you for touchups.
Mascara Beauty Moonlit
My sister gave this to me for Christmas and I LOVE THIS HIGHLIGHTER. It’s the perfect silky cream that glides on the skin, doesn’t gather, and gives you the perfect amount of pop. I dab this on the highest points of my cheek, a tiny bit on the bridge of my nose and on my cubit’s bow.
MAC Layin’ Low Paint Pot
Classic eye shadow primer, I love!
MAC Phloof Eye Shadow
My all time favorite brow bone highlither! Pop this on the brow bone!
MAC Pigment in Lily White
I pop this all over my lid. Similar shades that would work well are Pink Opal, Tan, or Frozen White. I just love the pigment of these, they’re super intense and that’s what I was wanting.
Lorac PRO Palette
I love this palette! I pop the Mauve in my crease for definition. I lightly lined my lash line with the black with a thin angle brush.
STILA Stay All Day Liquid Liner
I lined my lashes with this bad boy!
Hourglass Brow Arch
I love this waxy pencil to add shape that keeps my brows soft and full. I went very soft and full for this look.
Top it off with Mascara and giant lashes! Then, finish it off with lips…
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick
My sister gave me this for Christmas and it’s my new favorite! It’s popular for a reason! It’s the perfect pinky nude, which I think is great if you plan on eating and drinking. No worrying about smudging your lip! I skipped a liner, because I wanted a fresher more lived in finish.
This look took me maybe 20 minutes, I really took my time to sculpt my eyes and cheeks..The main focus I hope you take away is: skin prep, keeping your skin looking light while we do something more glam, and they key to to the super glam night time look is blending out your eyes. Shimmer, shimmer shimmer and break up the crease with matte colors. Sculpt those cheeks and highlight those eyes and punch up the drama with lots of lashes.
