I was introduced to the iconic foundation via celebrity MUA Marylin Lee Spiegel Makeup on the set of Alexa and Katie. She’s an Emmy winning makeup artist, so I’d say she knows what’s up and I trust her with my face. She used the foundation with a damp Beauty Blender and I was awe struck with this foundation. I live for a skin-like, light weight, perfecting foundation. It actually lives up to the hype. And! It’s 25% off right now! Armani Luminous Silk Foundation
You heard it right. This foundation is iconic for a reason. It’s so smooth, hydrating, gives you a radiant glow without being shiny and works perfectly for auditions. I tend to reserve this for an upscale character. I try to imagine what my character would realistically use so when I’m feeling fancy, this is what I bring out. I wear Shade 5 and suggest to anyone considering an investment foundation, this one works. This is great for dry to combination skin types and does give medium buildable coverage in my experience. I typically use about two pumps.
Armani Power Fabric Foundation
This foundation, while I do not use it myself, would be a bit more ideal for combination/oily skin types and even mature or textured skin types. If it’s the similar technology of the Luminous Silk, the only thing it will do is make your skin look perfect. It’s more long wearing and full coverage. So if you’re needing to control redness, blemishes and/or have a long day on set or a long night ahead and prefer a velvet matte-finish, this will be your better option.
This is a beautiful glow you can add to your foundation. They only have the bronzer in stock, but this is a great way to try luxury beauty and extend the life of your too-light foundation. Have a foundation from winter/spring but you’re golden right now? Add a small pump to your current foundation to add a bit of glow and color. This is also a great option for you to add if you spray tan but don’t ant to buy a completely different foundation! The reviews are beautiful.
This balm looks bomb. Please don’t unfriend me. They come in more neutral earthy tones and look to add a beautiful sheen with color and sculpt along the cheeks. I love a creamy product, and this is gorgeous.
If you’re new to luxury beauty, I like to start with basics that you can’t go wrong with. This pencil looks to be jet black, a smoother texture and has a sponge tip applicator on the opposite end so this is a great on-the-go liner to keep in your bag. Easy way to take you from day to night.
I love a voluming mascara! This is also a great gift idea! High end mascaras, for me, tend to last longer and give my lashes a more velvety finish, don’t dry so quickly so I can take my time building and forming the lash. This looks to give full, voluminous lashes.
Now, this one is a bit more pricy, but the images are amazing. If you’re a gloss girl (I tend to prefer lipsticks and balms) this is your gloss. It’s full color, full coverage with mega shine. So pretty!
I got this for Christmas and love this velvet matte lipstick. It’s gorgeous. Full coverage, long wearing, velvety smooth, non-drying and does not feather. I have the red 400 shade and get so many compliments. This is a great option to wear a matte lip during the fall and winter when our lips tend to be a bit drier. We want a matte lip but our lips are dry… enter Maestro.
Armani Prima Color Control Glow Moisturizer
It appears to be a lightweight, sheer tinted moisturizer with SPF. For those of you who prefer a transparent, no make up makeup and very light weight coverage, this would be a better option for you if you don’t like the idea of foundation. It looks to give a very natural, minimal sheer coverage finish with a beautiful glow. So pretty!
